St George Housing's Board provides strategic direction and governance oversight, ensuring the organization fulfills its mission and operates with integrity and accountability. The Board is responsible for setting the overall vision, approving key objectives, and shaping long-term strategies. They oversee organizational performance, monitor risks, and are accountable for ensuring compliance with regulatory and legal requirements while fostering a culture of transparency and continuous improvement.
David's career in retail banking and finance spans over 30 years. Since 2004, he has held a number of roles dedicated to tackling financial exclusion within social housing.
He has had a number of senior roles within large G15 housing Associations and has developed a number of projects designed to reduce financial inequality and social exclusion for social housing residents.
As an active member of the Green Party , David has campaigned to ensure that local communities have a stronger voice in local housing policy and will be instrumental force in shaping St George Housing. David is also the Member Responsible for Complaints (MRC) at SGH and has lead responsibility for complaints on the Board.
Tom is a RICS Chartered Quantity Surveyor and has gained significant experience as a Project Manager through every phase of the development cycle. Over his career he has strategically led on multi-million-pound development project across the UK, focusing on London. Tom has worked for private, listed and publicly owned companies.
He was previously a member of the Institute of Engineers Future Leaders board, working on Project 13, a new approach to asset ownership, procurement, integration and management supported by a government all party group.
Tom volunteers as a lay governor and Secretary at two other -for-profit organisations.
Adam Pallister, ACMA, CGMA, is a Chartered Management Accountant with over 20 years of experience in financial services, specialising in treasury, risk management, and strategic finance leadership. Currently serving as Director of Treasury and Asset & Liability Management at Foundation Homeloans, Adam has a strong track record in building financial frameworks, managing complex funding structures, and enhancing organisational resilience. His career spans senior roles at Pepper Money and Castle Trust, where he led large-scale transformation projects and regulatory risk initiatives. Adam also serves as a Board Director at Cardiff and Vale Credit Union, contributing his expertise in governance, financial strategy, and business development.
Alice is the current Chief Executive of St George Housing and founder of SGH, with over 10 years’ experience in the social housing sector.
She is a ICSA chartered governance professional and has held a number of senior roles within housing associations, acting as strategic lead in corporate governance, regulatory compliance, risk management, HR, data protection and board member services. Alice has helped develop start up housing associations as well as implementing value adding governance frameworks at larger established G15 organisations. Alice is the designated Consumer Standards Lead.
