We will partner with local authorities to provide high quality, affordable accommodation for those who are unable to access the private rented sector. We will support those who are either homeless or at risk of homelessness giving them choice and control over how they live their lives.
Homelessness
At St. George Housing Association, our primary objective is to make a significant impact in addressing homelessness by providing safe and affordable accommodation. We work closely with local authorities, receiving direct referrals from them, which allows us to identify and support individuals and families in housing need. Our commitment is to prioritise eligible applicants who have been recognised as having a priority need by their local housing needs team. Through this collaborative approach, we strive to ensure that those who require immediate housing solutions receive the necessary support, enabling them to regain stability and rebuild their lives.
Repairs and Maintenance
SGH delivers high quality safe housing that are fully refurbished on allocation. We will ensure we meet the decent home standard as a minimum by ensuring we operate a robust repairs and maintenance programme that maintains our properties to a high standard.
