St George Housing accepts referrals direct from Blackpool Council housing needs team in accordance with their social housing nominations criteria. This is to ensure that our homes are let to those who are eligible for social housing
Specialist social housing management company, Coles Property Maintenance (CPM) manages some of our tenancy and housing related services. CPM was established in 2004 and has been one of the leading property management companies serving the Blackpool and Fylde coast region ever since.
Blackpool Coastal Housing is a wholly owned subsidiary of Blackpool Council set up to manage the council's social housing. St George Housing has partnered with Blackpool Coastal Housing, in conjunction with Blackpool Council, to deliver a 24-hour repairs and maintenance service for our residents.
As we move forward into a more digital world, we believe digital inclusion should be a top priority for housing associations. That's why we have partnered with The Good Things Foundation to launch initiatives aimed at increasing digital access for our residents and others in the Lancashire area. We are offering free mobile SIM cards pre-loaded with data to those who are unable to access the internet. St George Housing has partnered with Lancashire Council in collaboration with the Social Enterprise Lancashire Network (Selnet) to support individuals who require help in establishing and maintaining a home under the 'Under One Roof Scheme'.
The Scheme provides free essential household items to those individuals/families who do not have access to sufficient income or funds to meet their immediate needs, along with help and advice in seeking additional support. for further information visit our website here.
